Abstract: Youth Tech Net calls for the UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance to address, as a matter of priority, the interests on youth, children and future generations. We draw attention to the asymmetrical impacts of AI on young people, and draw attention to three thematic areas we believe are crucial: social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI;protection and promotion of human rights; and open-source software, open data and open AI models.
